Rock Creek Water District is a municipal water district dedicated to providing safe, reliable drinking water to 100+ homes in the Grand Ronde area.

To help ensure the safety and quality of the water supply, all backflow prevention devices are inspected and tested annually by a state-certified backflow tester.

History:

Rock Creek Hideout Water Company became Rock Creek Water District in 1998. In March 2001, the District completed a major system upgrade that included the installation of a new water distribution system, a treatment and filtration plant, a 200,000-gallon water storage tank, along with meters, and state-approved backflow prevention devices.

Water Source:

The District’s water supply originates from a spring that is a tributary of Rock Creek. Water is collected in an open reservoir and is gravity fed to the District’s diatomaceous earth filtration treatment plant. The clean, filtered water is pumped into a 200,000-gallon storage tank where it is then gravity fed to our customers.

Monthly Board Meetings:
