There is a Boil Water Notice.
Boil Water for 10 minutes that is used for consumption until further notice.

Repairs 8/1/2022
Post date: Sunday, July 31, 2022 - 22:26On August 1, 2022 we have two repairs and need to shut down the main water line.
The first includes all of Route 56 East of 4114 Quaker Valley Road, Grandview, Dunnings Creek, Marietta and all side road branches. Approximate time around 9 am.
The second is Barefoot Road from 1706 to 1801. Approximate time around 9 am.
There is a boil water notice for both repairs and you will be notified when notice is lifted.

7/12/2022 Water Shut Off
Post date: Monday, July 11, 2022 - 19:30On July 12, 2022 the water will be shut off between the light at the 56/96 Intersection and going to the end of our system Route 56 West. Once the water is restored please boil water for 10 minutes that you use for cooking, brushing teeth, etc. You will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted. I can't tell you exactly when the water will be shut down but I don't believe it will be before 8 AM. Landlord please tell your tenants. Thank you.
4/29/2022 Boil Water Notice is Lifted

This includes all of Pleasantville Boro, Barefoot and Oldham Road, Cortland and Scott Road, plus Quaker Valley Road west of the traffic light.

Water Line Shut Down 4/25 and 4/26/2022 and Boil Water Notice
Post date: Sunday, April 24, 2022 - 19:45We are going to try again tomorrow, Monday, April 25. We will be shutting down water
- All of Pleasantville Borough
- Barefoot and Oldham Roads
- Cortland and Scott
- Quaker Valley Road west of the traffic light
Depending on weather and contractors we may need to also shut water down on Tuesday, April 26.
The water will be off as early as 7 am and back on each day when line connection is completed in both cases.
When water service is restored there is a boil water notice and you will be notified when boil water is lifted.
If this information changes you will be notified as soon as possible.

Another Change of Plans 4/22/22
Post date: Friday, April 22, 2022 - 09:45We had to change plans again so the water will not be shut down in Pleasantville Boro, Barefoot Road area, Cortland Road area or the Quaker Valley Road from the light west. The revised plan is for Monday 4/25 and maybe Tuesday 4/26. As soon as we have more information later today we will send out another message.

Change of Plans for 4/21/2022
Post date: Thursday, April 21, 2022 - 09:58The water will not be shut off today from Industrial Lane to the traffic light on Route 96. The contractors plan to do the work tomorrow.
As far as all other locations that were notified the plans are still for tomorrow. See notification below.

Water Line Shut Down and Boil Water Notice for 4/21 and 4/22/2022
Post date: Wednesday, April 20, 2022 - 18:39The water will definitely be off Thursday, April 21st as early as 7 AM for the following locations:
- 107 to 145 Industrial Lane
- All of Emerson
- 6717 and 6738 King St Clair Road
- 4204 Quaker Valley Road
There is a BOIL WATER NOTICE on till Saturday afternoon if all tests come back clear. We will notify you when notice is lifted.
Also, water maybe shut down on Thursday, April 21st as early as 7 AM and if not on Thursday definitely on Friday, April 22nd for the following locations:
- All of Pleasantville Boro
- Cortland Road including Scott
- Barefoot Road and Oldham to 1285
- Quaker Valley Road 4178 to 4498
There is also a BOIL WATER NOTICE once your service returns and you will be notified when the notice is lifted. It is going to depend which day contractors can do the work. Landlords please notify your tenants.

Possible Water Shut Down 4/20 and/or 4/21 plus Boil Water Notice
Post date: Tuesday, April 19, 2022 - 13:26Possibility on Wednesday and/or Thursday there may be a water line shut down for the following areas:
All of Pleasantville Boro, Cortland and Scott, Barefoot and to 1285 Oldham Road - - Industrial Lane 107 to 145, all of Emerson, King St Clair Road 6717 and 6738 - - Quaker Valley Road starting at 4178 and heading west to 4498.
This is all dependent on new line testing results, contractors and weather to proceed with project.
If the lines are shut down you will need to Boil Water for 10 minutes that is used for consumption until further notice.

Today, April 13th, 2022, there was a new gate valve installed which required the water shut off in the following areas:
All of Pleasantville Boro, Barefoot and Oldham Road, Cortland Road and Scott, and Quaker Valley Road from 4114 to 4498.
Please boil water for 10 minutes that is used for consumption (ex. cooking, hot drinks, also brushing teeth) The water will be tested and when clear you will be notified which usually takes two days.
