The Wood-Broad Top-Wells Joint Municipal Authority serves the Wood and Robertsdale areas and is located in the counties of Huntingdon, Bedford and Fulton. The system, which provides public water and sewer service to approximately 300 customers, was completed in 1997. 

The water system consists of a conventional water filtration plant whose water sources are the Trough Creek and Butcher Run reservoirs, two glass lined steel storage tanks that hold approximately 180,000 gallons each and 16 miles of pipeline.

The sewer system consists of an SBR sewer treatment plant, two pump stations and 14 miles of pipeline.

The Authority employs one full-time operator, one part-time operator and a part-time secretary.

The Authority is governed by a board of nine members. Currently there are two open board positions in the Broad Top Twp service area.

The office is open to the public on Tuesdays from 9am-noon and on Thursdays from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Payments may be left 24/7 in the dropbox located on the office door.
